Important Note: By accessing our services, you agree to the following terms. These conditions are engineered to ensure the safety of our guests, our chauffeurs, and our elite fleet. Please read them in full; claims made post-journey will not be entertained.
1. General Terms & Conditions
Applicable to all Ridehire™ segments.
1.1 Booking & Security Standards
- Identity Verification: Indian Nationals must provide an Aadhaar card and a valid Driving License. Foreign Nationals must provide an International Driving Permit (IDP), a passport copy, and proof of residence in India.
- Non-Transferable: Bookings are valid only for the named customer. Sub-letting or allowing unauthorized drivers is a breach of contract and voids all insurance and liability protections.
- Right to Refuse: Ridehire™ reserves the right to deny service or off-board customers without explanation to maintain safety and security standards.
- Garage Protocol: For security reasons, pick-ups and drop-offs are not permitted at our garages. Our crew will deliver and collect the vehicle (service charges apply).
1.2 Cancellations & Modifications
- Timeline: All modifications must be sent via email (10 AM – 7 PM) at least 4 hours prior to the trip.
- More than 24 hours' notice: 75% refund (a 25% cancellation fee applies).
- Less than 24 hours' notice: 100% cancellation charge (no refund).
- Technical Errors: Bookings made during website testing or due to technical glitches (incorrect pricing or details) will be canceled with a full refund.
- Payment Gateways: Processing fees charged by third-party gateways are non-refundable.
1.3 Force Majeure & Safety
- Recalls: Ridehire™ may recall a vehicle and chauffeur unconditionally if contractual terms or safety standards are compromised.
- External Disruptions: In the case of communal riots, natural disasters, or immediate threats, we reserve the right to call back the car without prior notice.
2. Self-Drive Terms & Conditions
Engineering-grade fleet management for the independent driver.
2.1 Eligibility & Speed
- Age & Experience: Minimum age is 25 years, with at least 5 years of holding a valid driver's license.
- Speed Limit: The maximum legal limit is 100 km/hr. A penalty of ₹2,500 per offense applies for over-speeding.
2.2 Usage & Fuel
- Kilometer Cap: 120 kms per day is included. Additional kms are billed at segment-specific rates.
- Fuel Policy: Full tank to full tank. If the vehicle is returned with less than a full tank, fuel charges plus convenience fees will apply.
- Parking: Street-side parking is prohibited. We require a verified address where the car will be parked; failure to comply may result in GPS-triggered penalties.
2.3 Security Deposit & Damages
- Evaluation: Security deposits vary by model. Refunds are processed within 2 working days following a complete technical evaluation of the car and GPS logs.
- Insurance: All cars are insured "bumper to bumper." However, the decision to invoke insurance lies solely with the provider.
- Damage Recovery: Any internal or external damage is first recovered from the security deposit. If the cost exceeds the deposit, the customer is liable for the balance.
- Downtime Fee: If a vehicle is rendered unusable due to damage, the customer is liable for the loss-of-revenue (downtime) charges for the period the car is in the workshop.
3. Chauffeur-Driven Terms & Conditions
Bespoke hospitality for corporates, celebrities, and weddings.
3.1 Operations & Duration
- Garage-to-Garage: Distance and time are calculated from our garage to our garage.
- Duty Limits: Maximum driving duration is 12 hours or 300 kms (whichever occurs first) to ensure chauffeur alertness and passenger safety.
- Airport Transfers: These are distinct from local and outstation trips. Please verify specific Airport Transfer rates (₹2,999 – ₹7,999).
3.2 Chauffeur Protocols
- Authority: Our chauffeurs have the authority to deny boarding or return to the office if they encounter alcohol, food hazards, or threats to the vehicle's features.
- Professional Respect: Chauffeurs must be treated with dignity. Abusive behavior will result in immediate termination of the trip and potential legal action.
- No Influence: Customers must not influence chauffeurs to drive rashly or violate RTO regulations. Customers are liable for damages resulting from such influence.
4. Prohibited Actions & Maintenance
- Cleanliness: No smoking, drinking, or alcohol inside the luxury fleet. A cleaning fee applies if the vehicle is returned in an unsanitary condition.
- Prohibited Items: Carrying illegal firearms, drugs, pets, or hazardous goods is strictly prohibited.
- Illegal Use: Cars cannot be used for towing, racing, speed testing, or commercial sub-leasing.
5. Geo-Fencing & Data Privacy
- GPS Monitoring: By using our services, you consent to location-data collection. We use geo-fencing to regulate pick-up and drop-off zones and restricted areas.
- Restricted Zones: Tampering with or circumventing geo-fencing technology will result in immediate service termination and legal action.
- Out-of-Contract Areas: If a customer drives, flies, or sails to locations not prescribed in the contract without explicit permission, they assume full responsibility for all consequences.
6. Indemnity & Disclaimer
- Liability: The user shall indemnify Ridehire™ and its directors against all losses, theft, third-party liabilities, or accidents arising from negligent use or breach of these terms.
- Personal Property: Ridehire™ is not liable for items left in the vehicle.
- Service Disclaimer: Services are used at the user's sole risk. Ridehire™ disclaims all warranties of suitability for specific purposes.
Final Note: These Terms & Conditions are updated periodically to reflect current RTO regulations and engineering standards. The latest version applies to all active bookings.
