Eligibility & Documentation

  • Minimum Age: The driver must be at least 25 years of age.
  • Driving Experience: The driver must hold a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 consecutive years.
  • Elite Performance Fleet Exception: For select high-performance and sports vehicles—including the Ford Mustang, Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, BMW M2/M5, and Mercedes-AMG 53/63 series—the minimum age requirement is 30 years.

The following identification must be submitted via email at the time of booking and prior to the journey date:

  • Indian Nationals: copies of a valid Driving License and Aadhaar.
  • Foreign Nationals: an International Driving Permit (IDP), valid proof of residence/stay in India, and a copy of their Passport.
  • Authorized Driver Policy: the individual under whose name the booking is registered is strictly responsible for the vehicle. Permitting unauthorized individuals to operate the car is a severe breach of contract; Ridehire assumes no liability for claims arising under these circumstances.

Client Verification & Community Standards

Because we maintain an ultra-premium fleet of high-end vehicles, we treat our cars as shared premium assets. To ensure the safety of our clients and the pristine condition of our fleet, Ridehire carries out a standard, thorough assessment and verification process for every applicant before granting vehicle access.

We look to build long-term relationships with clients who value premium motoring as much as we do. For corporate safety and operational reasons, we reserve the right to decline a booking if a profile does not align with our internal safety standards or brand guidelines. Admission to the Ridehire experience is entirely at the company's discretion, ensuring a secure and premium community for everyone.

Deliveries, Pricing & Fleet

  • Garage-to-Garage Tracking: for all calculated metrics, including tier limits and runtime tracking, distance and time are calculated from our garage back to our garage.
  • Garage Policy: for security reasons, pick-ups and drop-offs directly from our garages are strictly prohibited. All deliveries and collections are managed exclusively by the Ridehire Operations crew and are subject to additional service fees.
  • Destination-Based Tariffs: pricing is derived from the destination specified at the time of booking. Any route or destination changes must be communicated immediately; revisions may alter your tariff and run counter to local RTO regulations.
  • Transparent Pricing: all listed and discussed booking prices are fully inclusive of applicable taxes.
  • Fleet Variation: while we strive to match your exact selection, specifications such as color, variant, and specific features may vary based on active fleet rotation.
  • Substitution Policy: all cars are issued subject to availability and in as-is condition. If your selected vehicle becomes unavailable due to mechanical turnarounds or operational constraints, a similar vehicle within a comparable segment will be provided.

Pricing Tiers & Bespoke Packages

To offer both flexibility and competitive rates for our fleet, we utilize a tiered pricing structure based on the length of your booking. Our rates are divided into specific time slabs:

  • 1–2 Days
  • 3 Days
  • 7 Days
  • 15 Days
  • 30 Days

Your rental rate is determined by the specific tier you select and secure in full. For example, if you reserve an SUV on a weekly package valued at ₹70,000 but only clear an advance of ₹50,000, the system automatically applies the day-rate corresponding to the lower tier. To unlock the advantages of our long-term pricing, the chosen tier must be selected and settled upfront.

Our standard digital booking options accommodate journeys up to one month. For long-term placements, corporate fleet accounts, or multi-month requirements, we provide customized arrangements. Payment Policies & Extensions

Ridehire operates as a fully pre-paid service. To guarantee vehicle availability and seamlessly reserve the asset for your dates, all rental charges and security deposits must be settled in full prior to handing over the keys. We are unable to accept part-payments or split schedules for long-term bookings.

We are always happy to accommodate extensions whenever vehicle availability permits. Please note, however, that extensions are treated as a new, separate booking period. Previous rental rates will not be retroactively adjusted or merged into a longer-term price slab. The additional days will be billed at the prevailing rate tier for that specific new duration.

Kilometers, Fuel & Tolls

We offer two mileage tiers — please select the appropriate package at the time of booking:

  • Package 1 (Standard): an allowance of 120 kms per day.
  • Package 2 (Extended): an allowance of 350 kms per day.
  • Excess Mileage: any distance beyond your chosen package's daily limit attracts additional per-kilometer charges, billed at actuals upon vehicle return.

Fuel is not included in the rental price unless explicitly stated in writing on your final booking voucher. All rentals operate on a strict Full Tank to Full Tank basis: the vehicle is delivered full and must be returned full. If returned with less than a full tank, the actual cost of refueling plus a convenience surcharge will be deducted from your deposit or billed directly.

All local municipal taxes, highway tolls, parking tickets/fees, and traffic challans/violations incurred during the rental window are the sole financial responsibility of the customer. Serious traffic offenses that jeopardize public safety will attract an additional fine.

Security Deposit & Refunds

  • Mandatory Deposit: a security deposit is mandatory for all self-drive cars, with the amount varying by model. It is fully refundable post-inspection.
  • 7-Day Evaluation Period: refunds take up to 7 working days after return, to allow a comprehensive physical evaluation and a complete audit of GPS tracking logs, telematics history, and traffic-violation databases.
  • Extended Clearances: if the system detects over-speeding, unapproved parking, physical damage, or legal/police disputes, the refund timeline is extended until formal operational and legal clearances are secured from authorities and repair partners.

Inspection, Damage & Liability

It is the customer's sole responsibility to comprehensively inspect the vehicle — interior and exterior — and document, photograph, or video record any existing damage at the exact time of delivery.

Any complaints regarding pre-existing scratches, dents, or operational defects raised after the handover is complete will not be entertained or validated.

  • First-Tier Damage Recovery: repair and restoration costs are first recovered from the security deposit. If the evaluation exceeds the deposit, the balance is billed as an excess charge.
  • Insurance Discretion: all cars are insured bumper-to-bumper, but Ridehire reserves the absolute right to decide whether to file an insurance claim. The customer agrees not to interfere in this evaluation.
  • Tyres, Rims & Underbody: sidewall cuts/bursts, bent/scratched/cracked alloy rims, and underbody scraping are excluded from insurance mitigation. The customer is billed 100% of the actual replacement cost.
  • Interior Damage & Prohibited Cargo: the vehicle must not carry pets, commercial goods, heavy luggage, or anything that can tear or stain the upholstery. Interior damage is billed at actual repair/cleaning or replacement cost.
  • Downtime Fee: damage that removes a vehicle from service attracts a daily Downtime/Loss-of-Revenue Fee for the entire period it remains unusable in the garage.

Fleet Rules, Telematics & Safety

  • Speed Limits: The maximum legal limit is 100 km/h. Over-speeding instantly flags our telemetry system and incurs a penalty of ₹2,500 per offense.
  • Vehicle Abuse Tracking: Aggressive acceleration, harsh braking, unsafe cornering, excessive engine revving, or off-roading is strictly flagged as abuse. Each telemetry alert attracts a ₹3,000 penalty. Repeated violations will result in immediate remote vehicle immobilization and trip cancellation without a refund.
  • Prohibited Maneuvers: Disabling traction control, performing donuts, burnouts, or drifting is strictly prohibited. Our advanced onboard GPS and telematics track these metrics in real-time. Any such activity will trigger immediate remote immobilization (engine cut-off), instant trip cancellation, and complete forfeiture of the security deposit.
  • Premium Fuel Mandate: For all high-performance, V6, and V8 petrol vehicles, the client is strictly required to refuel exclusively with Premium High-Octane Petrol (e.g., Speed 97, XP95, or XP100). Valid fuel receipts must be presented upon vehicle return. Any engine knocking, damage, or system alerts caused by substandard or regular fuel will result in full liability for diagnostics and fuel system flushing costs.
  • Component Damage & Wear: In the event of clear mechanical or structural abuse—specifically regarding tire degradation (burnout wear) or clutch burnout—the client is strictly liable to pay the full replacement and repair costs.
  • Vehicle Seize Charge: If a vehicle is immobilized due to telemetry-flagged abuse or violation of prohibited maneuvers, a mandatory Seize Charge will be levied. This strictly covers all actual towing expenses and the operational costs of dispatching RideHire personnel to recover and secure the asset.
  • Cleanliness & Substance Ban: smoking, vaping, and alcohol are strictly prohibited inside our luxury fleet. Cars returned with odors, ash, stains, or litter attract specialized detailing and cleaning charges.
  • Prohibited Use: no towing, teaching driving, racing, speed tests, commercial leasing, or public-transport use. Carrying illegal firearms, ammunition, narcotics, or engaging in any illegal activity results in immediate vehicle recovery and law-enforcement escalation.
  • Passenger & Load Capacity: do not exceed the legal seating capacity in the registration book or the number of functional seat-belt restraints, or carry a load greater than the vehicle was built for.
  • Parking Restrictions: street-side parking is strictly prohibited. You must provide a secure, private, verified address where the vehicle is parked overnight; street-side parking is detected by GPS and may attract penalties.
  • Vehicle Abandonment: a vehicle may never be abandoned without informing Ridehire and obtaining explicit written authorization. Unauthorized abandonment results in full forfeiture of the deposit, legal prosecution, and liability for all recovery expenses.
  • Delayed Returns: failure to return on schedule triggers a running time penalty that may deduct the entire safety deposit for loss of bookings and administrative hindrance.

Bookings, Extensions & Cancellations

  • Booking Management: extend, cancel, or modify by contacting our support team via WhatsApp or phone at +91 6262 311 311.
  • Extensions: any rental extension is strictly subject to vehicle availability and subsequent client schedules.
  • Notice: cancellations or modifications must be informed only via email between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM on working days, and at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled time.

Cancellation charges apply dynamically based on timing:

  • Within 24 hours of the scheduled start time: 100% charge.
  • Prior to the 24-hour window: 25% cancellation fee.
  • Payment gateway fees: convenience fees are non-refundable across all platforms for any cancellation.

Breakdowns, Replacements & Recovery

  • Within City Limits: a replacement vehicle is provided within city limits only (subject to similar-segment availability) where an inherent mechanical fault prevents use.
  • Outside City Limits: a replacement will not be provided, and an amount equivalent to the agreed rental is still charged. Company decisions on replacements are final.
  • Towing & Recovery Liability: for breakdowns or accidents outside city limits, the customer bears the full cost of towing the vehicle back to our designated city garage. Rental charges continue to accrue at the daily rate until the vehicle is returned to our custody.
  • Key Replacement: losing the smart key/fob is charged at actual dealership replacement cost, plus a Rs. 5,000 logistics fee and applicable downtime charges while the vehicle is stranded.

Geo-Fencing & State Borders

  • Location Tracking: by using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of real-time location data from your device and the vehicle, used to provide service, optimize routes, improve safety, and enhance experience.
  • Compliance: you agree to comply with all geo-fencing restrictions, including designated zones and avoiding restricted areas. Tampering with, manipulating, disabling, or circumventing geo-fencing technology results in immediate termination of service and legal action.
  • State Border Crossings: vehicles operate only within the home state of delivery. Crossing borders requires prior written approval and an official RTO state tourist permit. Unauthorized crossing forfeits the deposit and attracts a flat Rs. 10,000 penalty, excluding any state dynamic fines or taxes.
  • Police Impoundment: if the vehicle is seized due to customer negligence, violations, unauthorized border crossing, or unpaid state taxes, the customer pays the full daily rental for every impounded day, plus a Rs. 15,000 administrative fee and actual legal/clearance expenses.
  • Service Availability: we provide service only in locations listed on our platform and cannot guarantee availability everywhere. Driving to locations not prescribed in the contract without permission makes you fully responsible for the consequences.

Audits, Refusal & Legal

  • Right of Refusal: Ridehire reserves the absolute right to refuse bookings or on-boarding without explanation, per our safety and security standards, even after a booking is received.
  • System Testing: during online tests, fleet values, prices, or details may differ from the actual ones. Any booking made on such a fleet will be canceled immediately with a complete refund.

Absolutely not. Ridehire is exclusively dedicated to serving the passion for motoring and catering directly to our premium clientele. Our self-drive services are strictly reserved for the end consumer who will personally be operating the vehicle.

We do not allow or permit our assets to be sub-let, sub-leased, or utilized by third-party dealers under any circumstances. Unauthorized commercial sub-letting will result in immediate termination of the service and legal recourse. If you are an enterprise looking for a legitimate B2B partnership or have a corporate business query, please reach out to our corporate office directly to discuss formal arrangements.

  • Safety Recalls: if we believe contractual terms or safety standards are compromised for any reason, we may recall the car unconditionally. Refunds are subject to further evaluation of the situation.
  • Force Majeure: in case of communal riots, natural disasters, or any other threats encountered during the trip, we may call back the car without prior notice.

The User releases and indemnifies Ridehire against any liability for loss or damage to any property left, stored, or transported in or upon the Vehicle before or after its return.

The User is solely responsible and shall keep Ridehire fully indemnified against any loss, theft, damage, costs, accident, or injury (including death) to persons or property arising in connection with the Vehicle or its negligent use, and against any breach of obligation by the User.

The User shall keep Ridehire, including its directors, employees, and shareholders, fully indemnified against all losses, liabilities, costs, claims, fines, or penalties in respect of these Terms or arising from use of the Vehicle, including third-party liability, damage, accidents, illegal use, misrepresentation, or breach.

For the purposes of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, the User shall be liable for any offenses committed and any liability with respect to the use of the Vehicle, including challans, penalties, third-party liability, and accidents, and shall indemnify Ridehire against any resulting losses, damages, costs, and liabilities.

The User acknowledges that use of the Services is at their sole risk. Ridehire disclaims all representations and warranties, express or implied, as to condition, suitability, quality, merchantability, and fitness of the Services, and shall not be responsible for any loss or damage arising out of the use of the Services or its failure to provide them for any reason, whether or not beyond its control.

Extended Outstation Logistics & Overnight Travel

The standard Premium Outstation Surcharge (₹1,000) is designed to maintain absolute operational autonomy for our crew. Our Navigators independently manage their own meal and lodging arrangements using this allowance. Clients do not need to provide provisions or accommodation, ensuring a completely uninterrupted travel experience.

Our billing structure calculates services on a calendar-day basis. If an outstation journey extends past 11:59 PM, it automatically initiates a new daily cycle. The journey will transition into a subsequent ‘Full-Day Mastery’ slab to protect mechanical compliance and scheduling integrity.

Operational Safety, Legal & RTO Compliance

Our Certified Navigators strictly adhere to legal RTO regulations regarding speed limits, designated routes, and defensive driving styles. Pressuring or influencing a Navigator to drive rashly, exceed legal speed limits, or bypass traffic laws is strictly prohibited.

To ensure the cognitive clarity of our Navigators and the mechanical integrity of our fleet, the maximum driving duration is capped at 12 Hours or 300 Kms per day (whichever occurs first). RideHire reserves the right to pause or structure the journey safely once this limit is reached.

Yes. Transporting more passengers than a vehicle’s authorized, factory-installed seatbelt capacity is a severe safety and legal violation. If overcrowding is detected, the vehicle will return to the garage immediately and the service will be terminated without a refund.

RideHire reserves the absolute right to terminate service and recall the vehicle instantly if a client misrepresents vehicle ownership (such as portraying a RideHire vehicle as personal property for social or business leverage) or compromises operational safety. In these rare instances, no refunds are issued.

Cabin Policy & Conduct (The Sanctuary Standards)

No. To maintain our strict luxury “Sanctuary Standards,” smoking, vaping, and the consumption of alcohol or controlled substances are completely prohibited inside the cabin. Navigators have full authority to deny boarding or terminate a trip if safety hazards or substance violations occur.

Our Certified Navigators must be treated with absolute respect, dignity, and professional courtesy. Verbal, psychological, or physical abuse is tolerated at zero percent and will result in immediate termination of service and potential legal escalation. All feedback must be directed to RideHire management rather than the crew.

  • Pets: To guarantee a completely allergen-free, pristine interior for all corporate clients, pets are not permitted inside RideHire vehicles.
  • Wedding/Event Decorations: External decorations are permitted for specialized bookings; however, supplemental deep-cleaning and detailing charges apply to successfully restore the vehicle back to its showroom state.

To prevent engine wear, carbon buildup, and excess emissions, vehicles are not permitted to idle stationary for more than 10 minutes. To maintain your comfort, our Navigators monitor your schedule to pre-cool the executive cabin just moments before you step inside.

Carrying illegal firearms, ammunition, un-prescribed controlled substances, or engaging in any illicit activity inside a RideHire asset is strictly prohibited. The journey will be terminated immediately upon discovery, and the asset will return to the garage while proper legal reporting takes place.

Yes. For high-profile corporate delegations, celebrities, or film industry executives shooting at locations like Ramoji Film City, RideHire can coordinate certified executive protection (EP) or bouncer attachments. Our Navigators maintain a baseline corporate “Quiet Luxury” uniform (sharp, dark-toned tailored suits). Cancellations, Modifications & Mechanical Failures

  • Cancellations made up to 4 hours before pickup: 100% fully refundable.
  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before pickup: Subject to a structured cancellation fee as per your specific vehicle tier.
  • Booking Modifications: Itinerary modifications or time adjustments must be communicated directly through our WhatsApp Concierge or via email at contact@ridehire.in.
  • Within Hyderabad City Limits: An equivalent luxury segment replacement vehicle will be dispatched quickly, subject to active fleet availability.
  • Outside City Limits / Outstation: While a rapid replacement cannot always be guaranteed due to remote geography, our central logistics desk will manage recovery assets and coordinate fallback transport to ensure your safety and continuity.
